Group Fitness Classes

Join our experienced and passionate team of instructors and take your output up a few notches!

We offer a varied and diverse range of fitness classes that suit all levels of fitness, regardless of your goals or exercise background. All Fitness Centre members have access to our classes - so take advantage to keep your training program dynamic and engaging.

For your safety, participants are asked to arrive on time for sessions to ensure a full warm-up can be completed. Please note that an instructor may refuse the right to participate if they deem it to be risk to that persons safety.

Pilates
Pilates is a body-mind practice that is based on the principle that 'good posture' enhances and maintains: Concentration, Control, Centering, Fluidity, Precision and Breathing. Habitual core activation and control are taught in vertical, horizontal, seated postures as well as complex dynamic movements, such as walking. Simple mats, chairs, tension rings and foam rollers may be used within each session. Ultimately this session is a practical 'posture practice' for anyone who is interested in good postural-habit formation.

This dance-fitness class is perfect for beginners and intermediate exercisers, or anyone who likes to groove and have a good time! With safe and effective moves, experience the calorie-burning and core-strengthening benefits and have a great time doing it.

A tough one-hour workout that builds confidence, improves aerobic capacity and muscular endurance, and maintains target heart rate until the finish. Please be aware that if using AIS Fitness Centre equipment (gloves and/or pads) that inner gloves MUST be worn underneath for your health and safety. These will be provided but regular users are encouraged to bring their own.
