The AIS is again holding the MS 24 Hour Mega Swim on May 6th – 7th. It is a fun team relay event and is one of Australia’s most popular and fastest growing fundraising events.

With teams of up to 15 friends, you can compete for laps swum and money raised for the title of Mega Swim Champions or just get in and have some fun to support people living with multiple sclerosis! Each team must have a swimmer in the water for the entire 24 hours.

This event is for people of all ages and abilities. Each team creates a swimming roster to suit each individual swimmer, whether it is 10 minutes of 4 hours! There is no set formula which really means anyone can take part!

We challenge you! Hope to see you on pool deck.

MS 24 Hour Mega Swim

Living with multiple sclerosis is a 24 hour, 7 day a week challenge. An MS 24 Hour Mega Swim is a feat of endurance that reminds us of this challenge.

The MS 24 Hour Mega Swim began in 2001 at the Fitzroy Pool in Victoria and was devised by Carol Cooke AM who had a vision of bringing people together to raise funds for those living with multiple sclerosis.

Funds raised from 24 Hour Mega Swim contribute to MS Go for Gold Scholarships, Financial Assistance Programs and providing services to directly benefit those living with multiple sclerosis.
